A Little History of the “Sweets”
Imagine messaging your favorite author on Facebook just to tell her how much you love her books, and then she messages you back! Over the course of a few months your FB relationship develops. Casually, you mention how much you always wanted to write but were too scared to ever try. Now, imagine your author crush tells you to put up or shut up! Write a paragraph she said. So you do, eventually.
I did write that paragraph, and then freaked out when I sent it to a “real” author to read! I waited patiently to hear from her. And guess what, she liked it and wanted more! This kept up until I had a 40K book and Sweet Surrender was born.
Sweet Surrender was never supposed to be a series, it was only an experiment to see if I could fulfill a dream. Nobody was more stunned than I, when readers actually liked the story! Even people I didn’t know!
Not long after I published Mari and Ki’s story, I knew that each of Ki’s princely brothers would need a story of their own. But, did I have more stories in me?
The supposed last book of the series Sweet Temptation was published January 7th, 2016. Before I finished writing that story Mari and Ki told me they weren’t finished, they had an adventure or two they needed telling. Who was I to argue!
Sweet Surrender was published on April 1, 2014, and the last(maybe) book of the series, Sweet Destiny will be published on April 1, 2016. This book is really a surprise book to thank my readers for taking a chance on a new author, sticking with me, and loving the SuMartra family as much as I do. I could have split this story into two books, but like I said, this is a gift and I didn’t want you to have to live through a cliff-hanger! I hate them too! LOL!
I can’t believe this ride I’m on. Everyday is an adventure that I cherish.
Thank you, sweetly!

The Royal Vow Series
Each story of this series can be read as a stand-a-lone. But why would you? It’s much more fun to find out what the other royal couples are up to in each story!
Sweet Royal Beginnings – Book 0, Jane & Mikal
Sweet Surrender – Book 1, Mari & Ki
Sweet Denial – Book 2, Ella and Zahir
Sweet Seduction – Book 3, Kassie and Taj
Sweet Temptation – Book 4, Chellie and Siran
Sweet Destiny – Book 5, Mari & Ki
Part 1 – The King’s Sweet Revenge
Part 2 – The Queen’s Sweet Return
Mari and Ki’s story began in the Royal Vow Series, Sweet Surrender. As I finished what I thought to be the last book of the series, Sweet Temptation, I discovered Mari and Ki had another story to tell. I hope you enjoy this two part story of their sweet destiny. Don’t worry, as a thank you treat I’ve included both parts of this story in one book, Sweet Destiny.
The King’s Sweet Revenge
Mari and Ki are just as much in love today as they were seven years ago when they first fell in love. As the King and Queen of Tanistan they’re faced with many of the same issues as most married couples. Their time is not their own and commitments and work keep them apart much too often.
After three children Mari is beginning to feel as if she doesn’t measure up to the expectations of her husband or of her country. When Ki cancels yet another private dinner to go out of town with his very attractive and size two assistant Mari overfills her schedule to keep the silly voices in her head silent.
The Queen’s Sweet Return
Mari and Ki are faced with the challenge of rebuilding their marriage. Would they fall in love a second time? Were they really destined to be together?
While Mari and Ki still have the same explosive chemistry, Mari can’t help but wonder which woman lay in his arms and in his heart.
NOTE: While Sweet Destiny is a very sweet read this book has steamy hot sexual scenes and is written for 18+ readers. If you don’t like sexy time in the ocean, in the shower, in the kitchen …well you get it. Then this story isn’t for you.
