Author Interviews

Ten on Tuesday with Cinnamon Sin

10401387_1071456616215871_353809125111194373_nPlease welcome Cinnamon Sin today. She writes shorts works of erotic fiction and I have to say, I quite enjoy her little stories.

  1. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

Sure! Well, obviously it’s a pen name, but I am Cinnamon Sin. My friend helped me pick out the name when I decided to publish some of my work. Thank god for Veronica Del Rosa! She formatted all my stuff and helped me along every step of the way.

I met you through Veronica so I know how much she means to you. She is a doll! Helped me and several other authors with formatting, so I know exactly how valuable that is.

  1. What made you decide to write erotica?

Well, I like sex and I like reading erotic stories. I had a few readers tell me my stuff was good, so I just decided to make a go of it.

I was one of those 😀 I do so like your stories. They are quite yummy.

  1. What is your favourite type to write? Male/female, male/male, female/female, menage, or other?

Ooooh, that’s a great question! I love it all, though I haven’ t tried f/f yet.  I am currently working on a m/m/f short so maybe I will try f/f next. I think my favorite is the orgy I published the first time ‘round: Summer Solstice Sinemony. M/M/F/F/F it was quite a naughty piece of work and I was very happy with it.

I was very happy with it too after getting a chance to read it. Wowzer! That was HOT!

  1. Do you work with an outline or just write?

I tend to just write what comes to me, though it would be easier if my cat didn’t always get in the way. Cinnamon Stick likes to climb right on the keyboard every time I sit down to write—he’s doing it right now. As if I wouldn’t stop and pet him even if he didn’t.

Kitties are insistent, aren’t they? I write what comes too, but I also make plans in my head while meditating.

  1. Is anything in your book based on real life experiences or is it all purely imagination?

Should I kiss and tell??? Consensus is: I definitely should. All my works are fiction, but I draw a lot of it from my own experience. I did mention that I like sex, right?

LMAO!! That is hilarious! Now I want to know your war (sex) stories!! Serieously, I am emailing you for tips!

  1. How do you think you’ve evolved creatively?

Well, I never intended to write more than short stories, but I have a project that is taking on a life of its own. It might end up being a novella.

Sweet! I can’t wait to see how that one turns out! And I will definitely buy it!

  1. Do you ever experience writer’s block?

I haven’t yet! I love writing about sex and my next publication is a fanfic of sorts. I won’t tell you who I am fangirling over, but he is sexy as hell and I love his accent.

Can’t wait to meet him…wonder if I can guess who it is…

  1. Where do you get your ideas?

Everywhere! I read a lot and I love the characters and people I meet in books. Sometimes, I just have to write them out for myself. I would never violate an author though, so if I want to write a fanfic, I always ask permission and change names to protect the innocent characters I corrupt 😀

HAHAHA!! Are you sure they’re innocent?? I read romance and none of those characters ever end up being innocent 😉

  1. If you were a brick in the wall, which brick would you be?

Oh! What a question! I think I would be the one that you can take out from the bottom and no one  except the bunnies notice because you are hidden behind the over-grown grass and they use the hole to get from one yard to the next.

I never would have thought of that. I want to be in your imagination right now.

  1. How can readers discover more about you and you work?

You know, I haven’t got anything but an amazon author page. I don’t even have a Facebook page! Maybe I should look into that…

In any case, you can email me at my cat’s email address:

And my Amazon author page is

Thank you Cinnamon Sin for joining me today!! I appreciate you taking the time. And thank you, REader, for stopping by to see what’s going on here. Leave a comment and let me know what you are up to too!

And in case you didn’t know, Julie Nicholls does Cinnamon Sin’s cover art too…check it out!

  1. Reblogged this on Veronica Del Rosa and commented:
Cinnamon Sin is an indie erotica author I met a little while back when she needed some help formatting her books. Being the good Samaritan, and nosey person, I am, I agreed. Whoa boy, she’s got some hot writing. Check out this interview she did with Jen. And then check out her books.
